2010 Greater Maryland Paranormal Society
The Greater Maryland Paranormal Society would like to thank The Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission Department of Parks and Recreation, Prince George's County for asking us to host a public investigation of the Snow Hill Manor in Laurel Maryland on Oct 22nd 2010. We had a great turn out and the feedback has been great. We were only given 2 and a half hours to not only set up teams, but send them off to investigate and go over findings. Snow Hill Manor was originally built circa 1755 by Samuel Snowden on 500 acres that he received as a wedding gift from his father. Snow Hill Manor is a 2 1/2-story brick plantation house of late Georgian style that is located on 15 acres of land in Laurel, Maryland and has been listed on the National Register of Historic Places since 1974.
In this EVP you can hear someone talking and at the end there is a male voice that goes "huh".
In this EVP you can hear someone talking and at the end there is a odd sound, almost like someone breathing out.
In this EVP you can hear there is a famale voice and she sounds like she is saying "Flash".
In this EVP you can hear what kind of sounds like a child asking "What was that?"
This one is very hard to hear without headphones....someone askes the question "Is there more then one of you here", and there sounds like a responce.
The team asks for who ever is there to make a sound, and then it did. Then after Mary says having chills there is another sound that could have been a voice.
In this EVP you can hear Elyse asking for who ever is there to do as she does and then she knocks 3 times. Followed by what could be a responce of 3 sounds. Someone does tag that they were shifting his camera, but the team thought that it was not him so it is left on here is possible evidence.
In the middle of the team doing a evp section, there is a quick sound that kind of sounds like a childs voice making a noise.
In this EVP just before someone says take my energy, there is a very quick male voice that sounds as if its says "Hello".
During the night, Bill went around the manor taking full spectrum photos. In the one to the left you can see how far he was from the kitchen window but when the photo was reviewed and zoomed in there seems to be the shape of a woman in the window. So the picture on the right is croped and cleaned up just a bit. You are looking at the bottom right window. The Second right window does have a lot going on too, but that is the exit sign and room light outside the kitchen. Is it one of the ghosts that haunt Snow Hill, or is it matrix. We will leave that up to you.
