Bill Hartley

Founder/Lead Investigator
I founded the Greater Maryland Paranormal Society based in Baltimore MD back in the winter of 2006, and the GMPS is a on call paranormal investigation company. I grew up in a house in Baltimore MD that had always had paranormal activity. So I grew up with it always being a part of my life. Over the years I have had more and more experiences that I started to learn all that I can on it and one day decided that I wanted to help others who are dealing with what I did all my life.
While I was a Civil War reenactor I put together a book on the unit that I reenacted under, the 57th North Carolina. The books title is "the Fighting 57th North Carolina: The Life and Letters of James Calvin Zimmerman".
In 2010 I had the wonderful experience of filming a episode of the A&E Show "Psychic Kids: Children of the Paranormal". The episode was the first one of season 3 called "Banishing Evil".
At the time of this posting I am working on two new books.
"I'm Not Crazy But..." is a book about growing up and dealing with the paranormal and what lead me up to founding the Greater Maryland Paranormal Society along with a few cases that the GMPS team has worked on. I hope to have this finished in the fall of 2011.
"Waxton Hall" is taking me alot of time to write because it is my first attempt at writing fiction. Set in the fictional town of Waxton NC, it follows a small town ghost hunting team as they set to find out the mystery of the old plantation house called Waxton Hall and the mystery of the small town in which it sits. What happens when the ghost hunters become the hunted? Spring/Summer of 2012
